CLEAR ROUND SUB-BASE
Router Woodworking
Could be that seeing the work a little better could improve your routing and add a measure of safety. I can't imagine why a transparent round subbase is not standard on all routers. My replacement subbases are available for the routers listed below:
The cutter hole for the 621 oversized plate is centered on the
7-5/8" diameter. The plunger is a lot easier to manage with
this subbase and you can guide off a straight edge without much
ado too.

The PC collar guide system is compatible with my subbases and
might save you Bosch owners a little if you already have a set
of PC guides.

It's always a pleasure to see the work, the cutter, and your scribelines. My clear acrylic plates will allow you to do just that. Moreover, they are fully machined and supplied with new hardware. A centered counterbored cutter hole for the PC templet guide bushing is standard. A 1-3/4" diameter cutter hole is also a standard option for the larger (bearing guided) cutters. Readers concerned with collar cutter centeredness please see the Collar Guide link.
Replacement sub bases for PC collar guides: 25$
Replacement sub bases with 1-3/4" cutter hole: 25$.
Both subbases: 46$, prices include S&H.
